1060 aluminum plate is part of the 1xxx series aluminum alloys, known for high aluminum purity, excellent corrosion resistance and stable processing performance. With an aluminum content of approximately 99.6%, 1060 aluminum plate is widely used in industrial applications that require reliable electrical conductivity, thermal performance and good formability.

Within the 1xxx series, 1060 aluminum plate offers a balanced position between purity and practical performance. Compared with 1050 aluminum plate, 1060 provides slightly higher aluminum content and improved electrical conductivity, making it more suitable for electrical components, busbars and heat-related applications. Both grades share similar corrosion resistance and workability, but 1060 is often preferred when conductivity is a key requirement.
When compared with 1100 aluminum plate, the main difference lies in application focus. 1100 aluminum plate is recognized for its excellent formability and surface quality and is commonly used for deep drawing, bending and decorative applications such as chemical equipment and architectural panels. While 1060 aluminum plate also processes well, it is more frequently selected for electrical, insulation and heat transfer uses rather than forming-intensive applications.
